Join Us in Welcoming BCWI’S New President and COO, Jay Bransford!

Today, Best Christian Workplaces Institute announces the hiring of Jay Bransford as the organization’s new President and Chief Operating Officer. With more than 20 years of leadership in respected Christian organizations and for-profit companies, Jay was the top choice of an international search that involved 600 candidates.

“I am thrilled to welcome Jay Bransford to the BCWI family,” says Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder Al Lopus. “With Christ-like character and stellar organizational development, coaching, and leadership experience, Jay is primed to help take BCWI to the next level to fulfill our vision that Christian workplaces set the standard as the best, most effective places to work in the world.

Jay’s professional background includes:

• 27 years of experience as an executive and organizational development consultant for several companies, including Accenture, FedEx, American Express, Sprint, and Qwest
• 15 years on the mission field serving organizations and leaders from over 40 nations on 6 continents, including leading approximately 200 staff and over 20 ministry teams
• Chairman of the Asia Leaders Learning Community (ALLC), which focuses on equipping the next generation of thousands of Christian leaders across Asia
• Coauthor of two published books on leadership

Jay earned a BS in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. He and his wife, Andrea, are the parents of a grown son, Graham, and make their home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jay came to know Christ personally through attending an Alpha course.  (AlphaUSA is a Certified Best Christian Workplace).  He eventually began staffing and leading Alpha courses with his wife.
