Senior Consultant

Dana Costar is a Senior Consultant at Best Christian Workplaces (BCW). As an experienced Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, Dana is passionate about using quantitative and qualitative data to help leaders and teams identify their strengths and opportunities to improve and leverage best practices to improve their culture, boost teamwork, and increase employee engagement on the Road to Flourishing.

Dana's experience includes developing and evaluating programs to enhance teamwork in high-stress environments, leading projects on team training, leadership development, and performance measurement for the U.S. Navy, FAA, and AHRQ. At a global consulting firm, she managed employee engagement and 360-degree feedback survey projects, examining the impact of mergers on engagement, the importance of acting on survey results, the role of trust in coaching, and methods to reduce bias in feedback ratings.

Dana is eager to leverage the Employee Engagement Survey, Leadership 360, and other tools to guide you and your team on the Road to Flourishing.

Dana has presented the impact of her work at conferences and has published numerous book chapters and journal articles. Dana has been recognized twice by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) for outstanding applied research.

She and her husband live in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina with their two children. Dana loves cooking, baking, and traveling. She is also a huge follower of Formula One and is a basketball fanatic!
